Third and Final Vendor Release in January
It was a dream abandoned in a place joy forgot. Among the cobwebs and grime in an old factory in Epuni, Lower Hutt were the remnants of a brewery left for dead. A hapless experiment, an abandoned jumble of mismatched parts, the broken bones of a brewery lay forgotten. Brought back to life but this time done right. Abandoned Brewery, a true micro-brewery with a never-say-die attitude and a deep belief in the craft, an arsenal of ideas and calm amongst the chaos…this monster lives.
Our menus reflect the season, showcasing fresh, local products. Each week we buy a whole Wairarapa lamb and butcher it ourselves. We source produce from local community gardens and work with the best of NZ fisheries to use long line, sustainably caught fish. Preserving, fermenting and dehydrating enable us to maximise every ingredient the seasons offer. We do our best to achieve “zero waste” and we make as much as possible in house, including breads and baking, vinegars and soft cheeses.
We present traditional Ethiopian Food which we are so proud to share and offer everyone a taste of Ethiopian Culture.
Sometimes you just have to take the leap. Fortune favours the bold. The meek might inherit the Earth, but they don’t reach the summit, blaze new trails, sail over the horizon, take their chances and play their hand.
Fortune Favours is crewed by beer lovers who quit their day jobs, restored a heritage building and built their own brewpub in central Wellington’s Leeds Street precinct. We love beer and we want to share that love with you. Fortune Favours beers are fresh, fun and innovative.
Funk Estate is the work of 3 young Wellington beer enthusiasts drawn together by our passion for a pint. We launched our first beer, a Black IPA in May 2012 to great success. Since late 2014, we’ve really been pushing hard on getting our beers out around Wellington and the rest of the country. We’re about making brews from across the spectrum; releasing limited runs of big, bold and sometimes outrageous beers, as well as holding down a solid line-up of tasty drops. Seek us out. Stay Funky.

As a real Mexican I love to share my passion and integrity with my food.

Every single dumpling is carefully handmade by us, just like every dumpling should be.

Welcome to O:TU Wines from the Awatere Valley
We are a winery that brings together a unique and beautiful place with a small group of passionate people drawn from around the world of wine. We are proudly Awatere; champions for a Marlborough style that isn’t a follower but offers a genuine difference.
O:TU wine is truly distinctive, always memorable and deeply satisfying.
The journey of our wine begins far from our vineyards. Pure water from the snow-capped Southern Alps travels six-months through braided rivers and underground aquifers to emerge crystal clear at Rapaura Springs. Our wines reflect the purity of these waters and tell a story of a lifetime in Marlborough working with nature.
South Cider brews fine apple ciders from its secret sub-Antarctic headquarters just south of the Basin Reserve in Newtown, Wellington.
Wines from unique and inspiring vineyards across the beautiful sub-regions of Marlborough. Hidden jewels, remote back breaking vineyards helping us write the next chapter in Marlborough’s wine story.
Sawmill is an independent, New Zealand owned brewery run by a small and talented team led by Mike Sutherland and Kirsty McKay.
We appreciate our place. This raw landscape has a bearing on everything we do and people here are resourceful, creative and hardworking.
We brew just out of Matakana in a paddock tucked under Mt Tamahunga. Sawmill beer is very firmly of this place. It is beer with roots.
Two Rivers of Marlborough takes its name from the iconic rivers that feed Marlborough’s Wairau and Awatere Valleys. Owner and Winemaker, David Clouston grew up in Marlborough, and spent his youth in the hills and plains of these river valleys, where his family have farmed for five generations. Energetic, young and talented, his experience – hard-earned over 25 vintages worldwide – is the driving force behind Two Rivers. David aims to capture and emphasise Marlborough’s intense power, while producing complex, elegant wines with a slight European flair.
Combining my knowledge and enthusiasm, Wag & Co. aims to bring together good people with good wine, the same way it has brought my family together.
