Disciple Pati got her start in music playing in covers bands around Auckland, her powerful and soulful voice grabbed the attention of punters and it soon became clear she was ready to do her own thing.
Debuting on close friend and now regular collaborator Leaping Tiger’s smash hit ‘No Heart’, Pati’s fire was sparked. It took Pati’s sometime before her first solo single but it was worth the wait. ‘The Boy Who Cried Woman’ was a hot release for the young songstress and she would also go on to take home the Pacific Music Award for best music video. Another fire was sparked as Pati began to embark on her musical journey, earning placements on independent radio around the country for her next release ‘Atma’, which would see her take more of a pop sound.
Her live shows are not to be missed either, playing with a full band that includes a keyboard and horns section. Pati opened for The Beths at their sold out Auckland Town Hall show and also packed out Galatos Basement for her debut headline show. In 2021, Pati released her pop bop ‘Serious’ and also showed a more vulnerable side to her with ‘Bow Wow Challenge’, featuring PollyHill.
